Price Includes: Our charter price is designed to offer exceptional value while covering all essential aspects of your journey. The quoted rate includes yacht rental, the services of an experienced skipper, and the latest electronic nautical charts to ensure safe navigation. In addition, all standard amenities such as bed linen, dishes, bath towels, and cleaning supplies (dishcloths and mops) are provided. This all-inclusive approach means that you can focus on enjoying your trip without worrying about hidden fees or unexpected costs.
Price Excludes: Please note that the price does not include extra bedding, specialized water sports equipment such as kayaks, stand up paddle boards (subject to availability), or a trolling rod. Final cleaning fees, crew gratitude, and all food and beverage expenses are also excluded. These additional options are available at your request, allowing you to further tailor your charter experience to your specific preferences.
Food and Beverage: We understand that dining is a key element of any luxury charter. To enhance your culinary experience, catering or private chef services can be arranged upon request for an additional cost. You also have the flexibility to shop for your own provisions during marina stops or while at anchor, ensuring that your onboard dining experience is customized to your taste and dietary requirements.
Payment Policy: A secure and straightforward payment process underpins your booking experience. A deposit amounting to 50% of the total rental fee is required at the time of signing the contract to confirm your reservation. The remaining 50% balance must be settled at least one month before the embarkation date. We accept major credit cards and bank transfers, with detailed payment instructions provided upon confirmation of your booking. Timely payment of both installments is essential to guarantee your charter and avoid any potential cancellation of your reservation.
Cancellation Policy: We strive to offer flexible cancellation options, though certain fees apply to protect the integrity of the booking process. If you cancel more than 30 days prior to your departure date, 50% of the total rental amount will be retained as a cancellation fee. Should the cancellation occur within 30 days of departure, the full rental amount will be retained. Please note that cancellation insurance may be available through your bank if you pay using a credit card, or you can opt for insurance through trusted providers such as Ouest Assurances or Pantaenius to safeguard your booking.
Prepayment Policy: To confirm your reservation and ensure the availability of the yacht, a 50% deposit is required at the time of contract signing. The remaining balance must be paid at least one month prior to departure. This two-stage payment process is designed to offer both security and convenience, making the reservation process as seamless as possible. Failure to adhere to this schedule may result in the cancellation of your booking.
General Terms and Conditions: By signing the rental contract, you acknowledge that you are renting the yacht under the terms specified by the rental agency. A comprehensive inventory detailing the yacht’s equipment, description, and registration documents will be provided, and you have 24 hours to verify the condition and completeness of these items. A security deposit is required, payable via a blocked credit card or other approved methods, which covers any potential damages incurred during the charter. The yacht must be used solely for leisure navigation and in full compliance with maritime, customs, and police regulations. Unauthorized commercial use, subletting, or transporting additional passengers is strictly prohibited.
Further, the client assumes full responsibility for the yacht and its passengers. This includes providing proof of sailing competence and meeting a minimum age requirement of 21. The boat must be returned on time, cleaned, and in the same condition as at the start of the charter. Any delays or damages will incur additional fees. Comprehensive insurance is in place to cover damages to the yacht and its equipment, though exclusions apply in cases of negligence, illegal activities, or violations of navigation rules. Disputes will be addressed amicably, and if necessary, resolved under the jurisdiction of the Tribunal de Commerce at Fort de France, Martinique.
Damage Deposit is fully refunded to you in 72 hours of your checkout, subject to any breakage/damage claims by the Operator/Owner.
- KaterBlue ensures all boats are insured by their owners, but advise guests to secure Travel Insurance for off-boat incidents. While boat owners cover marine accidents, guests are responsible for their valuables, or entrust to the captain. In case of an accident, captains must inform KaterBlue promptly. Owners are liable for the lack of proper insurance. Guests engaging in water sports do so at their own risk and should have personal insurance.
