FOOD & BEVERAGE:

CANCELLATION POLICY:
  • If the cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the departure date, 50% of the total rental amount will be retained as a cancellation fee.
  • If the cancellation occurs within 30 days of the departure date, 100% of the total rental amount will be retained as a cancellation fee.
  • You may have cancellation insurance included in your bank contract if you paid for the rental using a credit card. Please check with your bank to confirm this coverage.
  • Alternatively, you can opt for cancellation insurance through trusted providers, such as Ouest Assurances or Pantaenius, to safeguard your booking.
PREPAYMENT POLICY:
  • A deposit of 50% of the total rental amount is required at the time of signing the contract to confirm your booking.
  • The remaining 50% balance must be paid at least one month before the embarkation date.
  • Timely payment of both installments guarantees your booking and charter availability.
  • Failure to adhere to the payment schedule may result in cancellation of the reservation.
GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
  • The rental contract involves renting a boat without a crew and includes details of the rental company, boat specifics, rental rate, and period.
  • An inventory of the boat's description, equipment, and registration documents will be provided to the client. The client has 24 hours to verify the condition and equipment.
  • A security deposit is required, payable via a blocked credit card or other approved means, and is used to cover damages if applicable.
  • The boat must only be used for leisure navigation and in compliance with maritime, customs, and police regulations.
  • Clients assume full responsibility for the boat, passengers, and any third-party interactions.
  • The boat must be returned on time, cleaned, and in good working order.
  • Boats have comprehensive insurance covering damages to the boat, accessories, and equipment.
  • Disputes must first be resolved amicably. If unresolved, jurisdiction falls under the Tribunal de Commerce at Fort de France, Martinique.

Insurance details

- KaterBlue ensures all boats are insured by their owners, but advise guests to secure Travel Insurance for off-boat incidents. While boat owners cover marine accidents, guests are responsible for their valuables, or entrust to the captain. In case of an accident, captains must inform KaterBlue promptly. Owners are liable for the lack of proper insurance. Guests engaging in water sports do so at their own risk and should have personal insurance.
