Discover Croatia’s untouched island wilderness and protected coastal gems on this immersive 7-day bareboat sailing charter departing from Marina Rogač. This journey weaves through the pristine Kornati archipelago, Telašćica Nature Park, and tranquil island towns such as Kaprije and Primošten. Designed for sailors who value serene landscapes and remote moorings, this itinerary combines nature, exploration, and local culture into an unforgettable week-long adventure across the Dalmatian Coast.
About our service in Kornati, Telašćica & SurroundingsDay 1 begins at Marina Rogač on the island of Šolta. After check-in and briefing, you’ll set a short course toward the quiet embrace of Šešula Bay, a naturally protected anchorage nestled amid pine-covered cliffs. Known for its excellent shelter from the mistral and tramontana winds, it’s the perfect bay to spend your first night onboard. Enjoy dinner at the renowned Šišmiš restaurant, where Mediterranean cuisine is served with stunning sea views, or stretch your legs with a short walk to nearby Maslinica, a charming village dotted with stone houses and a Baroque castle.
Day 2 brings a longer leg of your journey as you cruise north to Kaprije Island. Sail past the Kakan Islet and feel the serenity of unspoiled Adriatic waters. Kaprije is a haven of simplicity-its harbor is well-protected, and the island boasts no cars, just the sounds of waves and seabirds. Explore hidden coves by dinghy, enjoy homemade local specialties at a konoba, or simply unwind in the rustic beauty of this tiny island where time seems to stand still.
On Day 3, continue your voyage to the extraordinary Kornati National Park, a labyrinth of 89 islands and islets famed for their stark cliffs and clear waters. Navigate through this sailor’s paradise and anchor at Piškera Marina, nestled among the bare rocky islands. Spend the day discovering legendary bays like Vrulje and Lavsa, where you can enjoy fresh seafood prepared by local fishermen. The isolation and quiet of the park create a magical atmosphere for an evening under the stars.
Day 4 takes you on a short passage to Telašćica Nature Park on Dugi Otok. This area offers some of the most dramatic landscapes in the Adriatic, including sheer vertical cliffs plunging into the sea and the famous saltwater lake Mir. The lake is warmer than the sea and reputed to have healing properties. Take a walk along the rugged trails, spot wild donkeys grazing near the cliffs, and enjoy the tranquility of one of the largest and safest natural harbors in the Adriatic.
Day 5 sees you sailing south along either side of Kornat Island depending on wind conditions, eventually reaching Opat Bay. This peaceful anchorage offers solitude and a great dining spot at the northeast corner. If southern winds arise, Koromašna Bay offers a picturesque and fragrant alternative, especially in spring when wild sage and rosemary bloom across the island. Spend the evening dining al fresco and soaking in the calm surroundings of this lesser-known destination.
On Day 6, your course brings you to the iconic town of Primošten. Known for its hilltop setting and medieval architecture, this town is steeped in tradition. Visit St. George Church, built in 1485, and stroll the narrow cobbled streets that wind past whitewashed houses and bougainvillea-covered facades. Primošten’s vineyards are world-famous, particularly the indigenous Babić variety. Enjoy local delicacies and wine tasting, or experience the vibrant nightlife and bars that overlook the glittering sea.
Day 7 is the final chapter of your journey, sailing past the islets of Mali and Veli Drvenik to Krknjaši Bay, the beloved “Blue Lagoon” of the Adriatic. The clear waters, soft seabed, and tranquil setting make this a perfect spot for a final swim. Drop anchor and take in the peaceful rhythm of the waves before returning to Marina Rogač. As you cruise back into the harbor, take a moment to reflect on the unique natural wonders and cultural encounters that made your week truly special.
