This itinerary features a harmonious blend of historic towns, serene anchorages, and iconic Adriatic landmarks over seven enriching days.
Day 1: Rogač – Milna (Brač)
Depart from Rogač and enjoy a brief 8.2 NM crossing to Milna on the western tip of Brač. This charming 17th-century fishing village features winding promenades, a baroque church, and tranquil bays like Bobovišće. Stroll the coastline, admire the traditional Brač stone architecture, or enjoy fresh seafood by the harbor. With two well-equipped marinas, Milna is a perfect overnight mooring spot with peaceful surroundings and delightful restaurants.
Day 2: Milna – Blaca – Bol – Stari Grad
Begin your 26 NM journey south with a stop at Blaca Bay. Here, an uphill hike leads to the extraordinary Blaca Monastery, carved into the cliffs by hermit monks. After your excursion, sail to Bol and admire Zlatni Rat, Croatia’s most famous beach known for its shifting shape. Continue to Stari Grad on Hvar Island, one of Europe’s oldest towns. Discover ancient Greek ruins, Renaissance palaces, and the iconic Tvrdalj Petar Hektorović residence. Enjoy dinner in one of the town’s many authentic taverns and soak in the historic ambiance.
Day 3: Stari Grad – Paklinski Islands – Palmižana
A short 13.5 NM sail brings you to the Paklinski archipelago, just off Hvar’s southern coast. Anchor in one of the serene bays or moor at the scenic ACI Marina Palmižana on Klement Island. Spend the day beach-hopping, hiking shaded trails, or venturing to Hvar Town to explore the 16th-century fortress and its buzzing nightlife. Palmižana itself offers a more relaxed vibe with secluded beaches and pine-fringed inlets perfect for swimming or paddleboarding.
Day 4: Palmižana – Komiža (Vis)
Today’s 20 NM journey leads to Vis Island. Cruise past the impressive cliffs and stop for a swim near the islet of Budikovac. Visit the Green Cave on Ravnik Island where sunlight refracts into dazzling emerald hues. Arrive in the authentic fishing village of Komiža, nestled beneath Mount Hum. Wander narrow stone streets, explore Venetian-era architecture, and dine al fresco on freshly caught lobster or traditional komiška pogača in a harbor-side konoba.
Day 5: Komiža – Biševo – Vis Town
Start early for a 21.5 NM loop toward Biševo, where the world-famous Blue Cave offers a surreal light show. Continue to Stiniva Bay, a pebble beach surrounded by towering cliffs, perfect for snorkeling. Explore the Green Cave and nearby Budikovac lagoon before returning to Vis Town. Spend the evening strolling along the waterfront promenade, visiting Roman ruins, or relaxing in a cozy café tucked into the stone alleyways of this timeless town.
Day 6: Vis – Maslinica Bay (Šolta)
Sail 20.6 NM back toward Šolta Island and anchor in the idyllic Maslinica Bay. Framed by a cluster of six islets, Maslinica is known for its calm waters and old-world charm. Visit the restored Baroque Martinis Marchi Castle, now a boutique hotel and marina, or take a short hike to nearby Šešula Bay for a more remote anchorage. Enjoy a serene evening under the stars, surrounded by nature and the gentle sway of the Adriatic.
Day 7: Maslinica – Krknjaši Bay – Rogač
Your final 9.6 NM journey includes a stop at Krknjaši Bay, often called the "Blue Lagoon" of Croatia. With transparent waters and white pebbled shores, it’s the perfect place for a farewell swim. Anchor between Veli Drvenik and Krknjaš islets and enjoy lunch onboard or at a rustic beach shack. Return to Rogač by late afternoon to conclude your charter with plenty of time to reflect on your island-hopping adventure.
