Experience the rich heritage, natural beauty, and Mediterranean flavors of Croatia with this Dalmatian Wonders bareboat sailing charter aboard the luxurious Hanse 508. Departing from Marina Baotić, this itinerary is a week-long celebration of UNESCO towns, lavender-scented fields, and idyllic island escapes. Designed for independent sailors with an eye for culture and comfort, it offers a seamless blend of ancient wonders, vibrant nightlife, and serene coastal escapes-unfolding each day across the timeless Dalmatian coast.
About our service in the Dalmatian Wonders itineraryThis route begins at Marina Baotić near Trogir, a hub of nautical excellence and charm. Check-in takes place on Saturday afternoon, after which you head out to explore a tapestry of history, nature, and tradition.
Day 1: The journey starts with a short sail to Šolta, an island of olive groves, stone villages, and tranquil coves. Drop anchor in Maslinica and enjoy your first taste of authentic Dalmatian cuisine in a seafront konoba, where local wines complement fresh seafood beneath a golden Adriatic sunset.
Day 2: Next, head south to Biševo and the famed Blue Grotto, where midday light filters through underwater openings, creating an ethereal blue glow. Continue onward to Hvar’s Stari Grad, one of Europe’s oldest towns. Its UNESCO-listed plains and rustic charm offer a serene counterbalance to the island’s livelier towns.
Day 3: A short cruise takes you to Split, Croatia’s bustling coastal gem. Here, history lives within Diocletian’s Palace-a massive Roman structure turned thriving town center. Walk through Peristyle Square, shop local markets, and enjoy dinner in a buzzing square alive with music and laughter.
Day 4: From Split, continue down the coastline to Makarska, nestled between the Adriatic and Biokovo mountain range. Spend your day lounging on pebble beaches or venture into Biokovo Nature Park for panoramic views. The evening invites you to sample local rakija or enjoy cocktails at lively marina bars.
Day 5: Omiš, a former pirate stronghold at the mouth of the Cetina River, offers thrills and legends. Brave a zip-lining adventure above the canyon or paddle through gentle river bends. Climb Mirabella Fortress for sweeping views, then feast on slow-cooked Dalmatian peka beneath ancient fort walls.
Day 6: Sail back toward Trogir and dock near its medieval core. Wander through narrow alleys, admire Romanesque churches, and sip coffee in charming piazzas surrounded by Gothic architecture. This living museum of a town is a perfect backdrop for slow-paced discovery.
Day 7: Spend your last sailing morning enjoying a secluded bay near Marina Baotić before returning the yacht. In the evening, relive the highlights of your journey with a celebratory dinner in Trogir’s old town, a symphony of stone, sea, and centuries of culture.
Day 8: Disembark at 09:00h, closing a week of Dalmatian exploration, luxury, and self-guided freedom.
