Journey through the soul of the Adriatic on this unforgettable 7-day bareboat sailing charter from Marina Rogač to Dubrovnik. Aboard the Oceanis 46.1, you’ll traverse the captivating southern route of Croatia’s Dalmatian Coast, discovering a chain of islands each rich in culture, nature, and history. From tranquil fishing villages to the grandeur of medieval towns, this route is tailor-made for sailors with an adventurous spirit and an eye for heritage. It’s an opportunity to sail from solitude to sophistication-culminating in the breathtaking splendor of Dubrovnik.
About our service from Rogač to DubrovnikDay 1: Depart from Marina Rogač and make your way to Maslinica, a serene town on Šolta Island. The bay here is flanked by six islets, offering natural wind protection. Explore the 18th-century Martinis Marchi Castle, now transformed into a luxury marina and hotel. For those intrigued by early Christian architecture, nearby Stipanska holds ruins of a 5th-century basilica. Spend the evening docked under a golden Adriatic sunset.
Day 2: Sail approximately 4 hours to Vis Island, a hidden gem known for its laid-back atmosphere and historical depth. Stroll through the remains of ancient Issa, admire Venetian palaces, and hike up to the island’s fortresses-Velintun and Fortica-for sweeping views of the coast. Dock at the town harbor and enjoy a quiet night at a seaside konoba serving fresh catch of the day.
Day 3: Chart a course southward to Lastovo, a nature park and one of Croatia’s most remote and pristine islands. Drop anchor in Zaklopatica Lagoon or explore the main village tucked into a hillside. With its unspoiled environment, clear skies, and Mediterranean flora, Lastovo offers a sense of detachment from the modern world. Watch the stars from your deck or hike inland for panoramic island views.
Day 4: Sail east to the fortified town of Korčula. Often called “Little Dubrovnik,” this medieval city invites exploration. Roam through narrow streets, admire Gothic and Renaissance buildings, or visit Marco Polo’s alleged birthplace. You can also sample some of Dalmatia's finest white wine, Grk, grown in the nearby vineyards of Lumbarda. Dock at ACI Marina Korčula or moor in Luka Banja for a quieter night.
Day 5: Navigate southeast to Mljet, an island famous for its lush National Park and saltwater lakes. Spend your day kayaking on Veliko and Malo Jezero or take a boat ride to St. Mary Island to visit the 12th-century Benedictine monastery. The tranquility here is unmatched, with forested trails, quiet coves, and emerald waters ideal for snorkeling or simply floating in blissful silence.
Day 6: Continue toward the Elaphiti Islands and anchor in Šipan, the largest in the group. The island is sprinkled with Renaissance villas, chapels, and olive groves. Visit the Rector’s Palace or hike inland to soak in coastal panoramas. Enjoy dinner in one of the port-side restaurants and watch the quiet rhythms of island life unfold before you.
Day 7: Your final day takes you to the majestic walled city of Dubrovnik. Dock at ACI Marina and venture into the city’s UNESCO-listed Old Town. Walk along the ancient ramparts, explore the historic Rector’s Palace, and snap photos along the Stradun. Visit Dubrovnik Cathedral and the Old Synagogue, and enjoy your farewell dinner overlooking the Adriatic Sea as the sun dips below the horizon. The journey ends, but the memories linger like the last trace of wind in your sails.
