For those craving a perfect balance of historical discovery, natural wonders, and serene island life, this weekly bareboat sailing charter offers an unforgettable journey through the central Dalmatian islands of Brač, Hvar, Vis, and Šolta. Starting from the charming port of Rogač, this itinerary brings you up close with Croatia’s most iconic island gems, offering a harmonious blend of exploration, leisure, and nautical adventure, all while enjoying the freedom of bareboat navigation aboard a fully-equipped sailing yacht.
About our service in Brač, Hvar, Vis & Šolta IslandsDay 1 sets the tone for a relaxing week as you begin your voyage from Marina Rogač and head across to the western coast of Brač. After a short 55-minute sail, you’ll anchor at the tranquil Stipanska Bay, a peaceful inlet shielded from the wind, surrounded by lush pine trees and mirrored waters. Here, you can enjoy a refreshing swim, explore the coastline by dinghy, or simply relax on deck under the stars. Osibova Bay is a nearby alternative with its own charm and seclusion, ideal for a serene first night at sea.
Day 2 invites you on a scenic passage along Brač’s southern coastline. Your first stop is Blaca Bay, where a 1-hour hike through wooded hills leads to the historic Blaca Monastery, a centuries-old hermitage that reveals the island’s cultural depth. Sail onward to Bol, famed for the ever-changing shape of Zlatni Rat Beach. After a refreshing swim or beach walk, continue to Hvar, where you’ll anchor in Žukova Bay before reaching the cultural heart of the island-Stari Grad. This ancient Greek settlement offers charming streets, stone houses, and the notable Tvrdalj Petar Hektorović, a Renaissance palace with a tranquil fish pond garden.
Day 3 takes you deeper into the Hvar region, sailing toward the vibrant Paklinski Islands. Drop anchor or moor at ACI Marina Palmižana, located on Klement Island. The crystalline water and peaceful anchorages here are perfect for swimming and snorkeling. If you’re up for some social energy, a short dinghy ride takes you to Hvar Town where ancient fortresses, bustling promenades, and chic cafés await. Whether seeking tranquility or lively nightlife, this day offers both in equal measure.
Day 4 leads you further offshore to the island of Vis. Head for the historic fishing town of Komiža, where centuries-old architecture, narrow stone alleyways, and Venetian facades await. A must-see is the 12th-century St. Nicola’s Monastery, tucked above the town with splendid sea views. For those wanting to immerse in local culture, the Komiža fishing museum showcases the region’s maritime heritage. If winds dictate or you prefer a more secluded anchorage, consider Rukavac Bay, another nearby gem on Vis’ southern coast.
Day 5 is a day filled with natural marvels. Begin with an early sail to Biševo Island to experience the legendary Blue Cave, where sunlight piercing through an underwater opening creates a surreal glow within the cavern. Afterwards, explore Stiniva Bay, a protected nature reserve surrounded by dramatic cliffs, perfect for a midday swim. Continue toward the Green Cave on Ravnik Island and the dreamy blue lagoon of Budikovac before returning to Vis Town. The evening is ideal for leisurely exploration-dine in traditional tavernas or take a sunset stroll past Renaissance-era palaces.
Day 6 brings you back toward Šolta, anchoring at the beautiful Šešula Bay. This peaceful and well-sheltered anchorage is flanked by olive groves and quiet hillsides. It’s an ideal setting to wind down your week-swim in the calm waters, snorkel along the rocky shoreline, or enjoy an evening meal at one of the local restaurants accessible by tender. The gentle sway of your yacht beneath the stars creates the perfect backdrop for reflection and relaxation.
Day 7 concludes your adventure with a final stop at Krknjaši Bay, located between Veli Drvenik and Krknjaš Islet. Also known as the “Blue Lagoon,” this bay is prized for its brilliant turquoise waters and sandy seabed, making it an ideal location for a last swim. Lounge in the sun, take photos of the stunning seascapes, and soak in your final hours of Adriatic bliss before your return to Marina Rogač. This calm conclusion perfectly wraps up a week of culture, exploration, and serenity.
