About Our Service in the Aeolian Islands
This itinerary is curated for those who crave a blend of geological wonder, tranquil retreats, and cultural richness. Over the course of seven nights, you will visit a harmonious mix of popular and untouched destinations-each with their own story, flavor, and atmosphere. The journey moves through the thermal marvels of Vulcano, the wild silence of Filicudi and Alicudi, the vineyard-strewn hills of Salina, the ever-erupting Stromboli, and the vibrant town life of Lipari. With a personalized route and a skilled crew aboard, this experience marries freedom with finesse.
Day 1: Welcome aboard the AICON 64 at Marina del Nettuno in Milazzo. After settling in and receiving your yacht briefing, take a walk into the historic center or dine by the water. The yacht remains docked or anchored nearby, ready for departure the next morning. With the scenic Sicilian coastline as your backdrop, your voyage begins in effortless style.
Day 2: Cruise to Vulcano where bubbling fumaroles and steaming mud pools hint at the island’s geological vitality. A short hike to the Gran Cratere offers extraordinary views over the surrounding sea and neighboring islands. Baia delle Sabbie Nere invites you for a rejuvenating swim before an evening meal in the quiet village of Porto di Levante or under the stars aboard the yacht’s flybridge.
Day 3: Today’s longer leg takes you to Filicudi, where sea caves and volcanic rock formations define the coastline. Discover Grotta del Bue Marino, snorkel near the towering sea stack La Canna, and stroll through Filicudi Porto, where time feels slow and sweet. The day closes with sunset drinks overlooking the water’s endless shimmer.
Day 4: Navigate westward to Alicudi, a rugged sanctuary with no roads and few distractions. Climb mule paths for panoramic views, swim in waters so clear they appear surreal, and enjoy a rustic, slow-paced lunch at a family-run tavern. Night falls with unfiltered starlight and the gentle sound of waves against the hull.
Day 5: From simplicity to sophistication, Salina offers lush terrain and culinary charm. Stop first at Pollara Bay, where cliffs frame the remains of a volcanic caldera. Visit a local winery to taste Malvasia and Sicilian capers before exploring the forested trails of Monte Fossa delle Felci. Dinner is best enjoyed in a cozy restaurant in Santa Marina, where fresh seafood and warm hospitality abound.
Day 6: Continue to Stromboli, where the silhouette of the active volcano dominates the horizon. Spend the afternoon relaxing on black beaches or exploring the quiet village of Ginostra. For those inclined, a guided hike leads to dramatic views of lava flows after dark, while the rest may choose to observe the fiery show from a safe distance aboard the yacht near Sciara del Fuoco.
Day 7: Lipari awaits with its combination of historic depth and modern liveliness. Tour the archaeological museum, shop along Corso Vittorio Emanuele, or dive into the sea at Spiaggia Bianca. Enjoy lunch aboard or in town, then make your way back toward Milazzo, with a final swim stop near Pietra Lunga before arriving at port. The last night includes a farewell celebration, whether on deck or in one of Milazzo’s inviting waterfront restaurants.
Day 8: After breakfast, your crew will assist with check-out procedures and goodbyes. Though the charter concludes in Milazzo, the impressions left by Alicudi’s raw beauty, Vulcano’s steam vents, and Stromboli’s fiery rhythm stay with you long after your return to shore.
