Milazzo, perched on the northeastern tip of Sicily, offers more than just a launching point-it is a gateway to the wonders of the Aeolian Islands. The marina’s modern infrastructure, paired with old-world charm, welcomes travelers into an experience where comfort, culture, and natural beauty converge. As guests settle in, the scenic backdrops of rugged capes, historic landmarks, and vibrant coastal life set the mood for an unforgettable sailing journey through some of the Mediterranean’s most iconic islands.
About Our Service in the Aeolian Islands
This carefully curated one-week skippered sailing charter is designed to blend the natural splendor of the Aeolian Islands with immersive cultural moments and luxurious comfort aboard the Aicon 75 Fly. Each island in the itinerary-Lipari, Panarea, Stromboli, Salina, and Vulcano-offers something distinct, from volcanic spectacle to stylish village life, making this voyage a balance of relaxation and discovery.
Day 1: Begin your experience at Marina del Nettuno in Milazzo. Once aboard, receive a detailed yacht orientation and enjoy welcome refreshments. There’s time to explore the Spanish Castle or browse artisanal shops in the old town before dining onshore and retiring to the comfort of your private cabin aboard the yacht.
Day 2: Set sail to Lipari, the most developed of the Aeolian Islands, where lively streets and centuries of history await. Tour the archaeological museum housed in a former monastery, walk the imposing fortress walls, and later relax with a swim at Spiaggia Bianca. The evening unfolds at a family-run trattoria by the sea.
Day 3: Cruise to Panarea, beloved for its elegance and exclusivity. Snorkel in the bubbling marine vents around Lisca Bianca, visit the prehistoric ruins of Capo Milazzese, and soak in the bohemian atmosphere of San Pietro village. As night falls, Raya Bar invites you with panoramic views and refined cocktails.
Day 4: Stromboli is next, with its brooding volcanic presence dominating the horizon. Swim in the shadow of this island of fire or stroll the winding lanes of San Vincenzo. Adventurous guests may opt for an evening hike to the crater, where lava fountains dance beneath the stars. A nighttime sail along Sciara del Fuoco completes the experience.
Day 5: Reach Salina, a lush and aromatic island famous for Malvasia wine and traditional capers. Explore Pollara Bay’s dramatic cliffs, taste local delicacies in a vineyard, or hike Monte Fossa delle Felci. The relaxed port of Santa Marina welcomes you ashore for a memorable dinner rich in island flavor.
Day 6: Sail to Vulcano, where nature’s power is tangible. Bathe in therapeutic hot springs, walk among steaming fumaroles, or climb to Gran Cratere for stunning views of the island chain. Baia delle Sabbie Nere offers a final swim in warm, mineral-rich waters before a farewell feast aboard the yacht.
Day 7: Return to Milazzo with a scenic route that includes a stop at Pietra Lunga for a last swim in secluded waters. In the afternoon, explore Capo Milazzo or simply unwind on the marina promenade. A celebratory dinner rounds off your journey in true Sicilian style.
Day 8: Your journey concludes with breakfast aboard before disembarking. As you step ashore, the memories of lava-lit skies, island vineyards, and luxurious cruising remain etched into your heart.
