About Our Service in the Aeolian Islands
This week-long skippered itinerary is designed for those who seek a blend of indulgence and immersion. From historic Lipari to glamorous Panarea and the dramatic shores of Stromboli, each stop reveals a different face of Sicily's famed archipelago. Guests aboard the Raffaelli AMC22 enjoy personalized service, flexible routing, and the comforts of a high-performance yacht while discovering the natural and cultural allure of each island.
Day 1: Upon arrival at Marina del Nettuno, our welcoming crew greets you aboard the Raffaelli AMC22. After a glass of sparkling wine and yacht orientation, spend the late afternoon exploring the Spanish Castle and Milazzo’s charming town center. The evening concludes with a delicious Sicilian dinner, followed by a tranquil night on board at the marina or nearby anchorage.
Day 2: Cruise to Lipari, where ancient ruins and modern cafes coexist. Stroll through Corso Vittorio Emanuele, visit the hilltop Lipari Castle and its expansive archaeological collection, then cool off with a swim at Spiaggia Bianca. With its vivid waters and white pumice cliffs, this beach is among the most photogenic in the Aeolians. Later, enjoy a candlelit meal in the heart of the old town.
Day 3: A short passage takes you to Panarea, the most fashionable and picturesque of the islands. Snorkel at Lisca Bianca, a bubbling islet shaped by geothermal vents. Explore the boutiques of San Pietro village and climb to the prehistoric village of Capo Milazzese, perched above the sea. The evening invites you to join the social scene at Raya Bar, known for its unbeatable sunset terrace.
Day 4: Continue to Stromboli, where the island’s restless volcano casts a powerful presence over the land and sea. Spend the afternoon swimming from black-sand shores or wandering the narrow lanes of San Vincenzo village. For the adventurous, a guided evening hike to the summit offers surreal views of lava fountains. Back aboard, the yacht drifts past Sciara del Fuoco for a fiery night spectacle.
Day 5: Sail to Salina, a green, vineyard-draped island where hospitality and culinary richness shine. Visit Pollara Bay, framed by cliffs and cinematic views, then taste freshly pressed Malvasia wine during a vineyard visit. Explore Monte Fossa delle Felci on a scenic hike, or unwind with local cuisine in Santa Marina’s relaxed harbor scene.
Day 6: Next is Vulcano, where steaming craters and therapeutic mud baths offer both adventure and wellness. Climb to the rim of Gran Cratere for an awe-inspiring panorama or swim at Baia delle Sabbie Nere with its dark mineral sands. In the evening, enjoy a dinner of local specialties while the sea glows with the reflection of the setting sun.
Day 7: Sail back toward Milazzo with a leisurely route that includes a final swim near Pietra Lunga. Before returning to the marina, you may choose to visit the rocky coastline of Capo Milazzo or enjoy one last gelato as you walk the town’s historic streets. The farewell dinner is a celebration of a week well-lived.
Day 8: Disembark after breakfast with the crew’s assistance. With your bags packed and memories made, your Aeolian escape comes to a close-but its impressions remain unforgettable.
