Day 1: Depart from Marina da Glória and sail for approximately 2 hours to Ilha de Paquetá, a car-free island celebrated for its tranquility and scenic views. Spend the afternoon wandering the cobbled streets, cycling through Parque Darke de Mattos, and enjoying a fresh seafood meal at a traditional restaurant before anchoring for a peaceful night.
Day 2: Navigate 3 hours to Niterói, where you’ll dock near the iconic Contemporary Art Museum (MAC), an architectural marvel by Oscar Niemeyer. After exploring the museum and taking in panoramic views of Rio’s skyline, continue sailing for 1.5 hours to Itaipu Beach. Day 3: Set off on a 5-6 hour voyage to Ilha Grande, one of Brazil’s most renowned islands. Upon arrival at Abraão Village, explore its eclectic mix of shops, laid-back cafes, and rustic charm. As the sun sets, indulge in a traditional Brazilian dinner such as moqueca or feijoada at a local eatery before settling in for the night.
Day 4: In the morning, sail 1.5 hours to Lopes Mendes Beach, known for its fine white sand and surf-friendly waves. Enjoy a day of swimming, surfing, and hiking in the surrounding Atlantic rainforest. Later, head to the famous Blue Lagoon (Lagoa Azul), a vibrant snorkeling haven with crystalline waters teeming with marine life. Anchor here overnight and soak in the magical underwater beauty.
