PAYMENT:

• 2.1) The person who's renting the boat needs to give some money as a deposit when they send back the booking form. Once they do that, the rules become official.
• 2.2) Before the start date, the person renting the boat has to pay the rest of the rental fee at least 14 days in advance. If they don't do that, we can consider the booking canceled and try to rent the boat to someone else. If we find a new renter for the entire rental period, the person who canceled has to pay half of the deposit. In all other cases, we keep the full deposit.
• 2.3) If the booking is made less than 28 days before the rental starts, the person renting the boat has to pay the entire rental fee right away.

CANCELLATION:

• 3.1 In the event of the Charterer cancelling the booking more than 28 days prior to the commencement date then the terms of rule 2.2, above, will apply.
• 3.2 MYC may cancel the booking at any time upon repayment of all sums already paid to the Charterer.
• 3.3 If the client leaves the yacht before the scheduled date and time, by their own choice, no refund will be given and any additional costs incurred by the charterer will not be reimbursed.
• 3.4 If the company has to cancel the charter because of circumstances beyond their control then we will use reasonable endeavours to procure another yacht acceptable to the Charterer or alternative dates will be offered or a full refund made. If the start date is delayed then a pro rata refund will be made. We accept no liability for any expenses or inconvenience caused to the Charterer as a result of such cancellation or delay.
• 3.5 In the event of Charterer’s flight being cancelled or delayed, or if boarding is denied by any carrier in circumstances which would entitle you to compensation under the Denied Boarding Regulations 2004, then you are obliged to claim the appropriate sums pursuant to those Regulations from the carrier. Any sums received by you in this respect constitute the full amount of your entitlement to compensation for all matters flowing from the carrier's actions and which fall within the scope of the Denied Boarding Regulations.

SECURITY DEPOSIT

• 4.1 When you pick up the boat, you need to give us some money as a safety deposit. This money is in case the boat comes back in bad shape, or if there's any damage during the time you're renting it. It also covers any losses we might have if you don't follow the rental agreement. If there are more costs than the deposit, you'll have to pay the extra.
• 4.2 We'll give you back your deposit, or whatever is left of it, within two weeks after you return the boat to us. If there's any argument about it, we'll give it back when we figure out the problem.
