About our service in the Northern Dalmatian IslandsThis itinerary has been thoughtfully curated for those seeking an authentic and varied sailing experience. With moderate daily distances and flexible anchorages, it’s perfect for seasoned sailors and adventurous families alike looking to explore off-the-beaten-path gems.
Day 1 (Saturday): Marina Zadar
Arrive at Marina Zadar for a 18:00 check-in. After a yacht briefing and provisioning, use the evening to wander the cobbled streets of Zadar Old Town. Sip wine along the promenade while taking in the melodic sounds of the Sea Organ. Spend your first night aboard, moored in the secure marina setting.
Day 2 (Sunday): Zadar - Pašman Island (6 NM)
Cross the narrow Zadar Channel to Pašman Island. Your destination is the peaceful village of Tkon, with olive groves, sandy beaches, and welcoming locals. Swim in quiet coves, hike scenic inland trails, and enjoy farm-to-table cuisine made with locally harvested olives and fresh Adriatic fish.
Day 3 (Monday): Pašman - Vrgada Island (10 NM)
A short hop brings you to Vrgada, a tranquil oasis with pine-fringed beaches and golden sands. This lesser-known island is a haven for snorkelers and paddleboarders. Drop anchor and spend the afternoon exploring its sleepy harbor and enjoying the laid-back rhythm of life.
Day 4 (Tuesday): Vrgada - Murter Island (12 NM)
Sail to Murter Island, often referred to as the “gateway to Kornati.” Wander through the town’s waterfront lined with cafes and old stone houses, then head to nearby beaches to soak in the late afternoon sun. Moor in the town marina and sample specialties like grilled octopus or peka lamb at a traditional konoba.
Day 5 (Wednesday): Murter - Kornati National Park (15 NM)
Kornati’s dramatic landscapes provide a stark contrast to the greenery of previous stops. Cruise past sharp limestone ridges and rugged shores before anchoring in a calm inlet. Hike to Tureta fortress or snorkel among vibrant marine life in the park’s clear waters. Enjoy a peaceful dinner in a remote restaurant built right on the water’s edge.
Day 6 (Thursday): Kornati - Dugi Otok (20 NM)
Today you’ll visit Dugi Otok and moor at Sali, a quiet village renowned for its natural surroundings. Explore Telašćica Nature Park, hike trails that overlook dramatic sea cliffs, and take a dip in the Salt Lake Mir. The relaxed vibe and scenic views make it an ideal stop before your return to base.
Day 7 (Friday): Dugi Otok - Zadar (27 NM)
On your final sailing day, journey back to Zadar with a stop for one last swim along the way. Return to the marina by 18:00, and consider wrapping up your adventure with a sunset drink overlooking the old city’s skyline from a seaside terrace.
Day 8 (Saturday): Disembarkation at Marina Zadar
Check-out is at 09:00. Reflect on a week of open-water exploration, intimate anchorages, and the countless coastal memories made with your crew.
