Setting sail from the picturesque port of Santa Teresa Gallura at 9:30 am, your day of coastal exploration begins with the promise of unforgettable moments. As the vessel gently departs, you'll immediately find yourself immersed in the mesmerizing beauty of the Mediterranean.
After a brief, scenic 20-minute cruise, we arrive at the enchanting Lavezzi Island. Here, we'll anchor at the eponymous beach for an indulgent two-hour stop. The soft sands and crystalline waters beckon, offering a serene backdrop for sunbathing, swimming, or simply taking in the island's unspoiled beauty.
Back on board, our journey continues along the southern coast of Corsica, weaving through the archipelago's charming islets. The captain's insightful commentary adds depth to the experience, providing fascinating insights into these hidden gems. Our next destination is Piana Island, where we'll enjoy a brief 40-minute stop on one of its pristine beaches, offering a glimpse of the island's tranquil allure.
As we set sail once more, we make our way towards the third and final stop of our expedition: Bonifacio. Nestled in the southern part of the island, Bonifacio is a picturesque town bursting with attractions. You'll have approximately three hours to explore its delights, from the bustling port with its numerous restaurantsma perfect opportunity for a leisurely lunch to the artisan boutiques that offer unique finds. For those seeking a panoramic view and an adventure, a charming little train awaits, ready to whisk you away to discover Bonifacio's hidden corners and offer breathtaking vistas from above.
Adhering to the captain's precise timetable, we embark on an exciting journey to the Bonifacio caves, nestled between the dramatic white cliffs that plunge into the sea. These geological wonders, known as the Cave of Saint Antoine and the Cave of Sdragonato, beckon with their intriguing shapes, crevices, and the dazzling interplay of light. Thanks to the capabilities of the dinghy, we'll venture inside these caves, allowing you to admire their beauty up close.
As the sun begins to set, we reluctantly bid adieu to Bonifacio and its captivating caves, knowing that the memories of this day will forever be etched in your heart. With our return to port scheduled for 5:30 pm, you'll disembark with cherished recollections of a coastal expedition filled with breathtaking landscapes and cultural discoveries.
