CANCELLATION POLICY:

A. Cancellation by Charterer:

1. Cancellation must be made in writing to the Owner

2. Owner may retain all amounts already paid

3. Unpaid amounts remain due

4. Refund possibilities:

- If Owner books a new charter:

* Charterer receives net proceeds minus 20% (covering broker commission, stakeholder fees, administrative costs)

* Deductions for any owner expenses due to cancellation

- If no new charter is booked:

* No refund will be provided

B. Cancellation by Owner:

1. If Owner cancels for reasons other than Force Majeure:

- Must fully reimburse Charterer for all payments made

- Must pay all broker commissions and stakeholder fees

- Charterer receives complete financial protection

Key Considerations:

- Written communication is mandatory

- 20% fee retained for administrative purposes

- Owner must make reasonable efforts to rebook the charter

- Force Majeure cancellations have separate provisions (not detailed in this excerpt)
