The vineyard introduced by the palm merchants to Crete was methodically planted in the 17th century BC, and Archana was the world's earliest wine press.

Wine was an important element of the ancient Greeks' life, which is why they worshiped Dionysus, the god of wine, feasting, and theater. This neighbor's son, with his inconsistencies and outbursts, will be depicted in a plethora of containers, clutching in one hand a bunch of grapes and in the other a bottle of wine, while Satir, Silen, and Stables have performed in ecstasy around him.
