Vella island is located north of Kalpitiya and is an amazingly beautiful flat water paradise with enough space for everyone to have their own location if they so desired. It's a pretty remote location with only a few fishermen for companionship. You may go downwind to Vella from Dream location in the morning, or if you want to save some exertion, simply ride in the boat and enjoy the flat water when you arrive. It's a great simple downwinder, and with the boat on hand, anyone can do it. It's also a fantastic experience for folks who haven't done any ocean riding because the chop isn't too big.

All safaris are accompanied by a safety boat and a kite helper, so if you get into danger, help is always nearby. However, in order to minimize repeated boat pickups, we want you to be comfortable riding upwind. If you're still learning, we recommend hiring an instructor with your trip to get you riding upwind in no time!

We leave at 8 a.m., and once we reach there, you may enjoy kite surfing. We return at 11 p.m.

Our large and comfortable boat can accommodate groups of 7-10 persons. Which you'll enjoy on the way back, against the wind and waves, and will save you time, allowing you to spend more time kiting!
