PAYMENT TERMS:
We accept all major credit cards for payments, with the exception of American Express. If you prefer to make an EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) payment, this option is available but must be arranged in advance with Sydney By Sail. Additionally, please ensure that EFT payments are completed at least five working days before your booking date to allow for processing.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
• Cancellation policies for charters are as follows:
• Less than 7 days notice: No refunds; all payments are due to Sydney By Sail.
• 8 to 21 days notice: 50% of all payments are due to Sydney By Sail and are non-refundable.
• More than 21 days notice: 10% of all payments are due to Sydney By Sail and are non-refundable.
• There are no refunds for cancellations related to individual or group sailing activities, including scheduled cruises, social races, and sailing school. If agreed upon, any refundable amounts can be held as credit for up to six months, applicable to future bookings or activities with Sydney By Sail, excluding skipper and catering fees.
CATERING:
We offer a delightful selection of catered food and beverages through our trusted Catering & Liquor partners. These suppliers are well-informed about the unique requirements of each vessel, ensuring a seamless dining experience. If you wish to use an alternative caterer, prior written authorization from us is necessary. Please note that a handling or corkage fee ranging from $25 to $45 per vessel will be applied to all beverage orders. Any leftover food and drink after the charter must be collected within 48 hours; otherwise, they will be forfeited. Guests are also welcome to bring their own food and drinks (BYO), but please remember to remove all refuse and empties from the vessel, leaving the galley in the same condition as when you boarded.
ALCOHOL AND SMOKING:
We encourage responsible consumption of alcohol aboard our vessels. Guests are reminded that the master of the vessel must maintain a blood alcohol reading below 0.05%. Additionally, we advise that the Charterer also keep their blood alcohol level at or below this limit for the safety and enjoyment of everyone on board. When it comes to smoking, please dispose of any refuse responsibly and refrain from discarding it in the harbour. Ensure that all lighted materials are fully extinguished before disposal. For safety reasons, smoking is strictly prohibited below decks. Violating this rule will result in a fee of $200 charged to the Charterer.
