The security deposit is held as a guarantee for any loss or damage to the Yacht and/or its equipment. If there is no damage or loss recognized by the Charter Company, the security deposit will be refunded to the Charterer at the conclusion of the Charter following check-out. Eurocard / Master Card / Visa / Amex are the credit cards accepted by the Charter Corporation.

50% of the charter fee will be paid as a down payment no later than three days after the contract is signed. The balance must be paid at least six weeks before the departure date. If the Charterer fails to meet the payment obligations, the contract is automatically terminated. All extra payments other than the charter price will be made at the base on the date of embarkation.

At check-out, the Charter Company will also inspect the fuel tank. As a general rule, the boat will be provided to The Charterer with a full tank at check-in and returned to the Charter Company with a full tank at check-out. If the gasoline tank is not full, the Charter Company will ensure that the fuel is replaced in full, with a 20% service charge and VAT applied to the fuel rate. In this situation, the Charter Company will initially pay for this expense through the deposit fee; if the deposit fee is insufficient, the Charterer undertakes to reimburse in cash and immediately.

- For cancellations made 12 weeks previous to the charter date, 90% of the charter money is refunded, less a 300 Euro cancellation charge. - For cancellations notified 10 weeks previous to the charter date, 80% of the charter money is refunded, less a 300 Euro cancellation charge. - For cancellations notified 8 weeks previous to the charter date, 70% of the charter money is refunded, with a 300 Euro cancellation charge deducted. - Cancellations made 7 weeks previous to the charter date are repaid 50% of the charter amount, less a 300 Euro cancellation charge. - There is no refund for cancellations made 6 weeks prior to the charter date, including skipper/stewardess/chef costs if any are reserved until that time.
