However, in 2001, it underwent a significant rebuilding process, and then in 2018, it received its last refit, ensuring it remains in excellent condition. Designed by the renowned J.J. Herbulot, this yacht boasts impressive specifications, with a length overall (LOA) of 15.80 meters, a beam (width) of 4.40 meters, and a draft (depth) of 2.20 meters. Powered by a robust YANMAR 140HP engine and supported by a 10KVA generator, the Beaufort 16 can cruise comfortably at 8 knots and reach a maximum speed of 9.5 knots for swifter passages.
